What our Maple Ridge chair lineup covers
A forest-canopy ceremony staged for a Maple Ridge wedding.
Three chair lines that cover almost every Maple Ridge event:
- White Chiavari ($8.50/day) — the wedding-reception standard. Lacquered hardwood frame, ivory cushion, stacks 8 high. Best for Maple Ridge indoor receptions, covered acreage reception tents, and any photographed ceremony where the formal frame is the aesthetic priority. We don’t recommend Chiavari for direct forest-floor or lakefront ceremonies.
- Fanback folding ($3.25/day) — the workhorse. Steel frame, folds flat. Right for ceremony rows where the photos prioritize the couple over the chairs, school events, and any large-headcount Maple Ridge booking.
- Resin Garden ($5.50/day) — the outdoor-resilient pick. Resin frame and seat, more substantial visual than Fanback but more forgiving than Chiavari to weather, damp grass, and forest floor. The right call for Golden Ears forest-floor ceremonies, Alouette Lake shoreline ceremonies, and any October–March Maple Ridge outdoor wedding.
Surface chooses the chair before the photograph does. We don’t book Chiavari onto saturated forest floor.

Forest-floor sites (Golden Ears)
Uneven ground, root systems, damp soil. Resin Garden travels well to these sites and handles the surface cleanly. Chiavari hardwood legs don’t love saturated forest floor.
Lakefront sites (Alouette Lake)
Saturated grass and morning dew. Resin Garden again — Chiavari’s lacquered legs don’t love sustained moisture from afternoon thermal off the lake.
Acreage backyards
Hammond, Silver Valley, Albion. Standard mowed grass plus the elevation-driven afternoon wind. Chiavari for evening receptions under marquee cover; Fanback for ceremony rows when guest count is high.
Per-item pricing
The same in Hammond as on Alouette Lake. Our Chiavari chair is one rate, full stop. The line that changes between bookings is delivery — surface, distance, multi-venue — never the per-chair rate.
Mid-event re-staging on single-tent flips
Single-venue Maple Ridge acreage weddings where ceremony and reception both run under one tent on dry grass let 100 × Chiavari handle both phases. Mid-event re-staging — our crew rearranging the same chairs from ceremony rows to reception tables during the cocktail-hour window — is included on single-tent bookings, not an add-on line.
A 100-guest Maple Ridge chair rental order
For a 100-guest Maple Ridge wedding with a forest-floor ceremony at Golden Ears followed by a Hammond acreage reception under marquee, a typical chair-side order looks like:
- 100 × Resin Garden chairs (ceremony rows at Golden Ears)
- 100 × white Chiavari chairs (reception under marquee at the acreage)
The two-chair-line setup gives the photographer cleaner forest-floor frames and the reception a more formal aesthetic — common Maple Ridge wedding configuration. For single-venue acreage weddings on dry grass, 100 × Chiavari handles both phases.
