On the truck for a typical Delta event:
- Marquee tents from 20×20 up to 30×60, weather-rated, with sidewalls and lighting add-ons
- White Chiavari chairs for receptions, Fanback folding for ceremony rows, Resin Garden chairs for outdoor sites
- 5ft round tables seating 8 guests, plus 6ft and 8ft banquet tables
- Portable dance floors in 12×12, 12×16, and larger configurations
- Bistro lighting, cocktail highboys, linens, and heaters as add-ons on the same quote
- Ballasted weight kits — the default coastal anchor on saturated Boundary Bay soil
Coastal wind is the first design constraint in Delta. The tent answer starts with anchor strategy, not headcount.

Boundary Bay and Tsawwassen wind exposure
The Strait of Georgia and Boundary Bay’s open water produce gust loads that inland Delta venues don’t see. For any coastal outdoor ceremony, ballasted weight kits at every leg, sidewalls year-round, and a slightly larger marquee than nominal headcount. Wind matters more than headcount for these venues.
Ladner Village access bottleneck
Heritage-protected streets, narrow alleys, and driveway grade variations mean we confirm access during quoting for every Ladner Village booking. Some addresses require staging at the road and hand-carrying equipment — that gets factored into the quote, not surfaced on event day.
North Delta and Sunshine Hills backyards
Standard backyard pattern: setbacks, slope, sprinkler clearance, and alley access for the truck. Most North Delta backyards accept a 20×40 marquee comfortably; Sunshine Hills properties tend toward larger lots and more flexibility on tent size.
Per-item pricing
The same in Tsawwassen as in North Delta. Our 5ft round table is one rate, full stop. The line that changes between bookings is delivery — coastal anchor, heritage access, distance — never the per-item rate.
A 100-guest Delta wedding rental order
For a 100-guest Delta wedding — say a Saturday in August at a Boundary Bay-adjacent venue with ceremony and reception both running outdoors — a typical order looks like:
- 1 × 20×60 marquee tent with sidewalls (covered ceremony + reception in single footprint)
- 100 × white Chiavari chairs (ceremony rows, then re-staged at reception tables)
- 12 × 5ft round tables for the reception
- 6 × 6ft banquet tables (head, gift, cake, DJ, registration, bar)
- 1 × 12×16 portable dance floor
- 2 × cocktail highboys for the cocktail hour
- Bistro string lighting along the marquee ridge
- Ballasted weight kits (coastal default; engineered stakes for inland Delta venues on grass)

For Ladner Village heritage-home receptions where the marquee comes off the order entirely, the typical mix shifts to Chiavari chairs, banquet tables, and 1–2 cocktail highboys for the front-yard cocktail hour. Lighting and tent sidewalls drop off the line items.
