Which Chair Is Right for Your Event?

By setting

Indoor banquet rooms and tented receptions are Chiavari territory. For a ceremony directly on grass or an exposed patio, Resin Garden and Fanback shrug off dew and damp better than a cushioned frame. A common pattern: Resin Garden or Fanback for the outdoor ceremony, Chiavari for the indoor or under-marquee reception.

By look

Chiavari reads classic and formal — the wedding-reception standard in photos. Resin Garden has a sculpted, garden-ceremony silhouette in bright photograph-ready white. Fanback is clean and unfussy, built for volume seating where practicality leads.

By budget & volume

Fanback is the value workhorse at $3.25/chair and flat-packs for high-headcount orders. Chiavari at $8.50 is the splurge that shows up in every reception photo. Resin Garden sits in between at $5.50. You can mix all three on one order at no extra charge.

How Many Chairs Do You Need?

Start with one chair per guest for any seated portion, then add a small buffer for the head table, a gift-table attendant, vendors, and a few last-minute additions. If your event flips from an outdoor ceremony to a seated reception, the same chairs are usually repositioned by our crew rather than doubled — so you rarely need two chairs per guest.

We can handle orders from 10 chairs to 1,000+ chairs. Our fleet is large enough for full corporate events and large-scale weddings. For orders over 300 chairs, contact us directly to confirm availability and logistics.

Are Chiavari chairs comfortable for long events?

Yes — our Chiavari chairs come with soft cushions and are designed for all-day comfort. They're a favourite for weddings, galas, and corporate dinners where guests are seated for hours. Many clients tell us they're the most comfortable rental chairs they've experienced.

Do you deliver and arrange the chairs to our layout?

Absolutely. Our crew delivers, arranges chairs to your floor plan (ceremony rows, reception rounds, banquet style), and collects them after the event. Share your layout and headcount when booking and we'll handle everything.

Yes. Our Resin Garden and Fanback chairs are particularly well-suited for outdoor use. Chiavari chairs work well outdoors too, especially under a tent or on a patio. We recommend a flat, stable surface for all chair types.

Is there a minimum chair order?

There's no strict minimum — we stage anywhere from 6 chairs to 600. For very small orders, delivery logistics are the main thing to discuss, so reach out and we'll sort the most economical option. We also bring spare chairs to every delivery at no extra charge in case your guest count grows.

What condition do the chairs arrive in?

Every chair is individually wiped and inspected before it leaves our Surrey warehouse — cushions spot-cleaned, frames and hinges checked. Anything that doesn't meet our condition bar comes off the roster, not onto your booking. It's one of the things clients mention most in our reviews.
