Delta install patterns
Ladner Village heritage residential
Older homes with detailed trim, complex rooflines, and narrow-street truck access. Heritage-friendly clip-style installs that respect the village character. Some addresses require ladder-only access from the front of the property — we factor it into the install timeline. Most run the Classic package.
Tsawwassen and Boundary Bay coastal
Strait of Georgia and Boundary Bay open-water exposure. Sustained-wind-rated install hardware is the default; commercial-grade LED strands rather than delicate mini-lights on exposed rooflines. Sidewall lighting on porches handles wind cleanly through the season.
North Delta and Sunshine Hills residential
Standard urban-density residential. Most lots accept the Starter or Classic package — warm-white C9 along the main roofline with optional tree accents. $8.50–$10/ft pricing for most. Sunshine Hills properties tend toward larger lots and run the Classic package.
Tilbury and ferry terminal commercial
Industrial-area commercial properties along Tilbury Industrial Park and the BC Ferries terminal area sometimes book Christmas-light installs for tenant events or year-round festive lighting. Commercial-grade install with after-5pm access timing.
Free off-season storage and the year-2 math
Year one, you pay for design, install, lights, takedown, and storage as a fixed package. Year two, the math gets meaningfully better — your strands are already in our warehouse, labeled with your section map. For Tsawwassen coastal installs especially, the sustained-wind-rated commercial-grade LEDs are a significant year-one cost; year-2 pricing typically drops 20–30% because those materials are already paid for.
A typical Delta install
For a North Delta two-storey home with main rooflines, two front-yard trees, and a covered porch, a typical Classic package install looks like:
- ~150 linear feet of warm-white C9 LED along main and gable rooflines
- ~60 linear feet of porch wrap and column accent
- ~80 linear feet of mini-lights wrapping front-yard trees
- ~30 linear feet of pathway lights along the front walk
- Clip-style attachment, WCB-covered crew
- One on-site design walk-through, season-long maintenance, January takedown, free storage
Setup runs 4–6 hours; takedown 2–3 hours. Both quoted up front. For Tsawwassen coastal-exposed properties, swap to sustained-wind-rated hardware and add ~30 minutes to setup time.
