Every marquee in our fleet is a free-span aluminium frame tent — no centre poles to design around, no compromises. We own every tent we rent, anchor with the right method for your surface, and our crew installs every booking. Bring us the venue and the guest count; we handle the rest.

Free-span aluminium frames

Engineered no-centre-pole construction across every marquee size, 20×20 through 30×60. Solid 8-foot sidewalls included as standard. Full 16-foot peak height throughout — full standing room from wall to wall.

Anchored for your surface

Grass and soft soil: long stakes through the corners and along sidewalls. Pavement, deck, or stamped concrete: heavy ballast water barrels at every leg. Both methods are wind-rated and safe — just tell us the surface when you book.

Crew install & takedown included

Add delivery to your order and our two-to-three person crew handles frame assembly, canvas, sidewalls, and anchoring (typical install is 3–4 hours for a 20×40). Same crew returns post-event for full takedown — you don't touch the tent.

Tent Rental FAQ

How far in advance should I book a marquee tent rental?

For summer weddings and large outdoor events, we recommend booking 3–6 months ahead. Peak season (May–September) fills quickly. For smaller or off-peak events, 4–6 weeks is usually sufficient. Check live availability and book online 24/7.

What does the tent rental include?

Add delivery and setup to your marquee tent order and our crew handles transport, full installation (frame assembly, staking, canvas fitting), and post-event takedown and removal — you don't touch anything. Delivery is quoted up front based on distance from our warehouse. Tables, chairs, and dance floors can be added to the same order.

Do marquee tents need to be staked into the ground?

On grass or soft soil, we stake marquee tents for maximum stability. For concrete, asphalt, or paved surfaces we use heavy ballast water barrels as anchors. Both methods are secure — just let us know your surface type when booking.

How much clearance does the tent need around it?

We need roughly 2 feet of clear space around the tent perimeter for staking and guylines. A 20×40 tent needs approximately a 24×44 ft clear footprint. Send us photos or measurements of your space and we'll confirm fit before delivery.

What's your cancellation policy?

Your date is locked once the deposit is paid. Deposits aren't refundable if you cancel. If you need to reschedule because of weather, we'll roll your deposit forward to a new date at no charge — just let us know before crew dispatch. See our full terms at checkout.

Can you add sidewalls, lighting, or heaters?

Yes — solid and clear-view sidewall panels can be added to any marquee tent for weather protection or privacy. We also rent 80,000 BTU propane tent heaters for shoulder-season events and warm-globe bistro string lighting that bolts straight into the frame. Everything loads on the same delivery truck. Contact us to build a custom package.

Do I need a permit to put up a rental tent in BC?

For private property in most Lower Mainland municipalities, tents under 60 m² (about 645 sq ft — our 20×30 and smaller) typically don't require a permit. Larger tents, or any tent on public park land, usually do — Surrey, Vancouver, and Burnaby each have their own park-use permit process. We can help you scope what's needed for your specific venue when you book.

How long does tent setup take?

A 20×20 marquee installs in about 2 hours with our two-to-three person crew. A 20×40 takes 3–4 hours. A 30×60 (our largest, three sections gutter-joined) is a 5–6 hour install. We typically arrive the morning of your event or the day prior depending on your timeline — install windows are confirmed at booking.

What's the rental period — one day, or the weekend?

Marquee tent prices are quoted per event, not per day. A standard booking covers delivery, installation, your event day, and post-event takedown — typically a 2–4 day window depending on scheduling. Multi-day events and longer holds are quoted separately. Popup tents and accessory items (heaters, sidewalls, lights) are priced per day.

Do you deliver tent rentals in Vancouver?

Yes — park, rooftop, and backyard marquee installs across the city. Vancouver-specific sizing, ballast vs stake, and Park Board notes live on tent rentals in Vancouver. Full setups (chairs, tables, dance floor on the same truck) are on Vancouver party rentals.
