On the truck for a typical Tsawwassen event:
- Marquee tents from 20×20 up to 30×60, weather-rated, with sidewalls and lighting add-ons
- White Chiavari chairs for receptions, Fanback folding for ceremony rows, Resin Garden chairs (the right pick for direct-sand or saturated-grass setups)
- 5ft round tables seating 8 guests, plus 6ft and 8ft banquet tables
- Portable dance floors in 12×12, 12×16, and larger configurations
- Bistro lighting, cocktail highboys, linens, and heaters as add-ons on the same quote

Coastal wind is the design constraint
The Strait of Georgia produces afternoon thermal patterns that inland Delta venues don’t see. Ballasted weight kits at every leg, sidewalls year-round, and a marquee size adjusted for evening enclosure — even summer evenings cool fast on the bluff.
Sand and saturated soil
Centennial Beach’s direct-sand zones skew toward Resin Garden chairs (resin frame and seat handle saturated sand). Chiavari hardwood doesn’t love sand contact. English Bluff and Tsawwassen Shores’ grassy bluff-tops accept Chiavari fine, but the soil holds enough moisture that ballast outperforms staking.
Sunset ceremony timing
Tsawwassen sunset weddings cluster in the 7:30–9:00 PM window from June through August. We dispatch the truck and crew to be set 90 minutes before ceremony start so the photographer has clean sightlines for golden hour and the ceremony begins at the planned time.
Per-item pricing
The same on Centennial Beach as at Tsawwassen Mills. Our 5ft round table is one rate, full stop. The line that changes between bookings is delivery — coastal anchor, beach access, distance — never the per-item rate.
Tsawwassen Mills and ferry terminal corporate events
Tsawwassen Mills brings a steady stream of mall-adjacent corporate events — tenant gatherings, community functions, seasonal events — and the BC Ferries terminal area hosts occasional charity functions and trade-show after-parties. Both run on shorter lead times than weddings (3–4 weeks rather than 6–8) and almost never need a marquee — interior spaces handle the footprint. Most of these orders run on banquet tables, Chiavari chairs, cocktail highboys, and bistro lighting for evening ambience.
A 100-guest Tsawwassen wedding rental order
For a 100-guest Tsawwassen wedding — say a Saturday in August at an English Bluff bluff-top ceremony followed by a Tsawwassen Shores reception — a typical order looks like:
- 1 × 20×60 marquee tent with sidewalls (covered reception with full enclosure)
- 100 × white Chiavari chairs (ceremony rows on the bluff, then re-staged at reception tables)
- 12 × 5ft round tables for the reception
- 6 × 6ft banquet tables (head, gift, cake, DJ, registration, bar)
- 1 × 12×16 portable dance floor
- 2 × cocktail highboys for the cocktail hour
- Bistro string lighting along the marquee ridge
- Ballasted weight kits (coastal default)
Setup runs 5–6 hours; teardown 3–4. Both quoted up front. For Centennial Beach direct-sand ceremonies, Resin Garden chairs replace the Chiavari count and the marquee comes off the order entirely. The 50/100/150/200 rental checklist maps the same configuration to your headcount.
