Cultus Lake wind plan
Cultus Lake’s afternoon thermal is meaningful — sidewalls year-round and ballasted weights for any beach-adjacent ceremony. We size the marquee one step up from nominal headcount because evening enclosure with windbreak matters more than tight footprint here.
Mount Cheam-facing acreage installs
Sardis, Promontory, Vedder Crossing, and Cheam-facing properties all see mid-afternoon wind that flat valley-floor venues don’t. Engineered stakes paired with ballast on the leeward corners is the default for unfamiliar properties.
Bridal Veil Falls forest sites
Forest-canopy ceremonies skip the marquee entirely — open-air Chiavari rows under the trees. We pre-walk forest sites we haven’t delivered to, and we don’t promise marquee installs in zones with overhead-branch constraints we haven’t measured.
Per-item pricing
The same on a Promontory hilltop as on Cultus Lake. Our 5ft round table is one rate, full stop. The line that changes between bookings is delivery — distance, lake permits, anchor strategy — never the per-item rate.
Eastern-valley lead times and overnight staging
Chilliwack is one of our longer delivery routes, and that shapes scheduling. For weddings with multi-day setup needs (rehearsal-dinner Friday + ceremony/reception Saturday + brunch Sunday), we sometimes stage the truck overnight at the venue rather than running the round-trip back to Surrey twice. Overnight staging factors into the delivery line, not as a surprise add-on. For acreage weddings 60+ minutes out, this is often the more cost-effective option.
A 100-guest Chilliwack wedding rental order
For a 100-guest Chilliwack wedding — say a Saturday in August at a Sardis acreage with ceremony and reception running outdoors and Mount Cheam in the photo backdrop — a typical order looks like:
- 1 × 20×60 marquee tent with sidewalls (covered ceremony + reception in single footprint)
- 100 × white Chiavari chairs (ceremony rows, then re-staged at reception tables)
- 12 × 5ft round tables for the reception
- 6 × 6ft banquet tables (head, gift, cake, DJ, registration, bar)
- 1 × 12×16 portable dance floor
- 2 × cocktail highboys for the cocktail hour
- Bistro string lighting along the marquee ridge
- Engineered ground stakes paired with ballast (default for Cheam-facing properties)
Setup runs 5–6 hours; teardown 3–4. Both quoted up front. For Cultus Lake beach-adjacent ceremonies, the marquee comes off the order entirely (chair-only), and Resin Garden chairs replace the Chiavari count for direct-sand zones. The 50/100/150/200 rental checklist maps the same configuration to your headcount.
