Three chair lines that cover almost every Surrey event:
- White Chiavari ($8.50/day) — the wedding-reception standard. Lacquered hardwood frame, ivory cushion, stacks 8 high. Best for indoor receptions at Surrey Arts Centre, Hazelmere Golf clubhouse weddings, head-table seating at Cloverdale Rodeo Grounds events, and any Surrey venue where the photos prioritize formal seating.
- Fanback folding ($3.25/day) — the workhorse. Steel frame, folds flat, stacks compactly. Right for ceremony rows, school events at Surrey campuses, civic events at Whalley’s Civic Plaza, and any high-headcount booking — a 250-chair Cloverdale Fairgrounds order ships on a single truck.
- Resin Garden ($5.50/day) — the outdoor-resilient pick. Resin frame and seat, more substantial visual than Fanback but more forgiving than Chiavari to weather and damp grass. The right call for Bear Creek Park ceremonies, South Surrey acreage outdoor receptions, and any Cloverdale or Hazelmere booking that runs partly under sky.

Cloverdale — equestrian, country, fairgrounds
Cloverdale runs the largest single-event chair counts on our Surrey calendar. The Rodeo Grounds, Cloverdale Fairgrounds, and the heritage venues along 176 Street regularly book 200–300 Fanback folding chairs for ceremonies and corporate gatherings. Truck access is straightforward, ground is firm, and most Cloverdale events run on a venue-coordinated schedule we already know.
South Surrey — acreage and Hazelmere weddings
South Surrey acreage weddings — particularly along 0 Avenue, near Hazelmere Golf & Tennis Club, and the Crescent Beach area — typically split chair lines: Resin Garden outdoor for the ceremony, Chiavari indoor for the reception under a marquee. Lots are larger, gates are gated, and we usually pre-stage chairs the morning of (rather than racing the ceremony window).
Bear Creek Park and Surrey civic ceremonies
Bear Creek Park, Surrey Arts Centre, and the civic venues around Whalley’s City Centre run on tighter permit windows and stricter setback rules. Resin Garden is the standard for Bear Creek’s lawn ceremonies; Chiavari for indoor Surrey Arts Centre weddings; Fanback for civic and corporate registrations at Whalley plaza events.
Newton, Fleetwood, Guildford backyards
Most weeknight and Sunday Surrey bookings are residential. Detached-home backyards in Newton, Fleetwood, and Guildford run smaller (50–80 chairs), with shorter delivery windows and earlier teardown. Standard backyard pattern: setbacks for stakes, slope check for chair levelling, and where the truck can stop without blocking the laneway.

Our Chiavari chair is one rate, full stop. The same in Cloverdale as in South Surrey, the same on a Bear Creek lawn as on a Whalley plaza. The line that changes between bookings is delivery — distance from the warehouse is essentially zero from any Surrey ZIP — never the per-chair rate.

Surrey orders get the tightest turnaround on our calendar because our warehouse is in Surrey.
