What our White Rock chair lineup covers
A Chiavari ready to load — individually wiped, inspected, stacked.
Three chair lines that cover almost every White Rock event:
- White Chiavari ($8.50/day) — the wedding-reception standard. Lacquered hardwood frame, ivory cushion, stacks 8 high. Best for Marine Drive restaurant receptions, Uptown hillside indoor venues, Semiahmoo peninsula acreage barn receptions, and any White Rock venue where the photos prioritize formal seating.
- Fanback folding ($3.25/day) — the workhorse. Steel frame, folds flat, stacks compactly. Right for ceremony rows on the upper Marine Drive promenade, school events, civic events, and any high-headcount booking.
- Resin Garden ($5.50/day) — the outdoor-resilient pick. Resin frame and seat, more substantial visual than Fanback but more forgiving than Chiavari to weather, salt air, and damp sand. The right call for pier-side ceremonies, West Beach and East Beach weddings, Semiahmoo Park outdoor ceremonies, and Peace Arch Park ceremonies.
Mixing lines is free. We carry enough of each that the full ceremony + reception split ships without short-shipping.
Pier, beach, peninsula — White Rock chair patterns

White Rock Pier and Marine Drive promenade
Pier-side and promenade ceremonies run on tight permit windows and constant onshore breeze. Resin Garden every time. Vehicle staging is on Marine Drive itself; we coordinate the delivery window around city event scheduling and other promenade vendors.
West Beach and East Beach — sand setups
Beach setups run on packed sand with a short carry from the Marine Drive staging zone. Resin Garden chairs sit stably on tamped sand; back rows get sandbagged if the wind forecast looks active. We carry the chairs from the truck — beach-carry isn’t a surcharge.
Semiahmoo Park and the peninsula
Semiahmoo Park acreage weddings on the peninsula run rural-road truck access with longer driveways. Most peninsula weddings are 100–150 guests with the two-chair-line setup: Resin Garden outdoor ceremony, Chiavari indoor reception under a marquee.
Peace Arch Park
Peace Arch Park ceremonies right at the border require parks-permit coordination. Truck access is via the park gates with venue-coordinated timing.
Uptown and Centennial Park area
Uptown’s hillside backyards with ocean views run smaller weddings (50–100 guests) with simpler chair configurations. Hillside delivery is straightforward; we walk the lot during quoting if the slope is significant.
Per-item pricing
The same on the pier as on the peninsula. Our Chiavari chair is one rate, full stop. The line that changes between bookings is delivery — never the per-chair rate.
Same-day swaps and short-notice add-ons
White Rock delivery runs 20–30 minutes — among our shortest routes. Short-notice walk-in additions or chair swaps mid-event can typically be on-site within 60 minutes during business hours.
A 100-guest White Rock chair rental order
For a 100-guest White Rock wedding — say a Saturday in August at a beach ceremony followed by a Marine Drive restaurant reception — a typical chair-side order looks like:
- 100 × Resin Garden chairs outdoor beach ceremony, then 100 × white Chiavari chairs indoor reception (the beach-into-restaurant standard)
