Three chair lines that cover almost every Coquitlam event:
- White Chiavari ($8.50/day) — the wedding-reception standard. Lacquered hardwood frame, ivory cushion, stacks 8 high. Best for Westwood Plateau Golf clubhouse receptions, Town Centre civic events, indoor heritage venues in Maillardville, and any Coquitlam venue where the photos prioritize formal seating.
- Fanback folding ($3.25/day) — the workhorse. Steel frame, folds flat, stacks compactly. Right for ceremony rows, school events at Coquitlam campuses, civic events at Town Centre Park, and any high-headcount booking.
- Resin Garden ($5.50/day) — the outdoor-resilient pick. Resin frame and seat, more substantial visual than Fanback but more forgiving than Chiavari to weather and damp grass. The right call for Lafarge Lake ceremonies, Mundy Park outdoor events, Minnekhada forest weddings, and any Burke Mountain backyard with significant tree canopy.
Mixing lines is free. We carry enough of each that the full ceremony + reception split ships without short-shipping.

Lafarge Lake and Town Centre civic ceremonies
Lafarge Lake’s stage and lakeside lawn host most of Coquitlam’s civic weddings and small-to-medium corporate gatherings. Resin Garden is the standard for the lakeside ceremony zone (damp grass, lake dew); Chiavari for indoor venues at Town Centre. We’ve worked the Town Centre Park calendar enough to know the venue-coordinated delivery windows around their programmed events.
Westwood Plateau Golf — upscale weddings
Westwood Plateau’s clubhouse and ceremony lawn are among Coquitlam’s most-booked upscale wedding venues. Cart-path access for ceremony-lawn deliveries; standard freight access at the clubhouse. Most Westwood weddings book Chiavari for the formal aesthetic, with Resin Garden as a backup for shoulder-season ceremonies when the lawn is damp.
Burke Mountain — hillside backyards and ceremonies
Burke Mountain weddings are typically smaller (50–100 guests) and held at private acreage residences along the upper slopes. Standard delivery truck handles the newer streets; the older switchbacks at the very top occasionally need smaller-truck staging. We confirm the route during quoting.
Minnekhada and forest ceremonies
Minnekhada Regional Park’s forest ceremony zones run on permits with strict setback rules. Resin Garden is the only pick for the forest floor — Chiavari’s lacquered finish doesn’t tolerate damp duff and uneven ground. Truck access is at the parking lot; we hand-carry chairs the final stretch when the ceremony zone is past the trailhead.
Maillardville and Eagle Ridge — heritage backyards
Maillardville’s heritage-residential streets are tight (street parking only, narrow side passages), but most lots accept any chair configuration. Eagle Ridge runs newer detached-home backyards with standard delivery patterns.
Per-item pricing
The same on Burke Mountain as in Maillardville. Our Chiavari chair is one rate, full stop. The line that changes between bookings is delivery — hillside access, after-hours timing, distance — never the per-chair rate.
Same-day swaps and short-notice add-ons
Coquitlam delivery runs 35–45 minutes from our warehouse. Short-notice walk-in additions or chair swaps mid-event can typically be on-site within 75–90 minutes during business hours.
A 100-guest Coquitlam chair rental order
For a 100-guest Coquitlam wedding — say a Saturday in August at Westwood Plateau Golf with an outdoor ceremony followed by a clubhouse reception — a typical chair-side order looks like:
- 100 × white Chiavari chairs (full ceremony + reception staging — these reset between the two)
The Chiavari-only configuration is the most common Coquitlam Westwood wedding chair booking. The two-chair-line setup (Resin Garden outdoor + Chiavari indoor) is the standard for Lafarge Lake ceremonies that flip into a Town Centre indoor reception. For other guest counts, the 50/100/150/200 rental checklist maps the chair count + table count to your headcount.
