A 5ft round set for 8 — the White Rock peninsula wedding-reception standard.
Three tables, three jobs. White Rock event floor plans usually need all three:
- 5ft round tables ($13.50/day, seats 8) — the classic wedding-reception configuration. Eight guests, room for centerpieces, fits two-deep into most marquee footprints (a 20×40 holds 6 rounds; a 20×60 holds 12). Standard for Semiahmoo peninsula marquee receptions.
- 6ft rectangular banquet tables ($10.95/day, seats 6–8) — the single most versatile SKU we ship. Family-style dining rows, buffet stations, gift tables, DJ booths, bar setups. Under 75 lb so they re-stage quickly mid-event. Heavier base than highboys — the right pick for exposed beach setups when seated dinner is part of the program.
- Cocktail highboy tables ($15.50/day, standing) — 42-inch standing-height rounds for cocktail hour, networking events, and pre-dinner mingling. Plan ~1 highboy per 10–12 standing guests. Standard for Marine Drive restaurant pre-dinner staging.
Tables care most about access and floor plan — we don’t add a per-table setup charge when delivery is on the quote.

White Rock Pier and Marine Drive — wind-aware
Tight permit windows, exposed wind. Banquet bases over highboy bistros where the site is fully exposed; cocktail highboys staged under tent canopy or weighted with sandbags. We don’t recommend full seated-dinner table programs on the open beach.
West Beach and East Beach — cocktail hour
Beach-sand setups skew toward highboy-and-banquet cocktail-hour configurations rather than full seated dinner. Sandbagged bases on any exposed setup.
Semiahmoo Park and peninsula acreage
Full table mix — 12+ rounds, 6–8 banquets, 3–4 highboys — common for 100–150-guest peninsula weddings. Rural-road truck access; we pre-stage near the marquee for longer driveways.
Marine Drive restaurants — cocktail hour staging
Most Marine Drive restaurant weddings have the seated-dinner tables provided by the venue; our delivery is typically cocktail-hour highboys staged outside the entrance. Curbside delivery on Marine Drive is coordinated with city event scheduling.
Uptown, Centennial Park area, Hillside backyards
Smaller weddings (50–100 guests) with simpler banquet runs. Hillside delivery is straightforward.
Per-item pricing
The same on the pier as on the peninsula. Our 5ft round table is one rate, full stop. The line that changes between bookings is delivery — never the per-table rate.
Mid-event flips and ceremony-to-reception staging
Many White Rock peninsula weddings run a single-tent ceremony-to-reception flip — same chairs, same marquee, with our crew rearranging the table layout in 30–45 minutes during the cocktail-hour window. Banquet tables fold flat and re-position quickly; rounds re-stack to the truck while the dinner configuration goes up. This is included on single-tent bookings, not an add-on line.
A 100-guest White Rock table rental order
For a 100-guest White Rock wedding with a Semiahmoo peninsula marquee reception and a separate cocktail-hour space, a typical table-side order looks like:
- 12 × 5ft round tables (8 guests per round = 96, with 2 extras for kids and overflow)
- 6 × 6ft banquet tables (head linking 2, gift, cake, DJ, registration)
- 2 × 6ft banquet tables for the buffet line
- 3 × cocktail highboys for the pre-dinner cocktail hour
Total: 23 tables, all positioned to your floor plan during a single delivery window. For beach-and-Marine-Drive cocktail-hour-into-restaurant configurations, the order shifts to highboy-heavy. The 50/100/150/200 rental checklist maps the table mix to your headcount.
