Lafarge Lake and Town Centre civic
Lafarge Lake’s lakeside lawn and Town Centre Park run on city event permits with specific setback rules and venue-coordinated delivery windows. Stakes-plus-ballast is standard for the lakeside zone given variable inlet wind. Most civic-scale marquees here run 20×40 to 20×60.
Westwood Plateau Golf — slope-aware ceremony installs
Westwood’s ceremony lawn is graded for golf and the slope changes tent placement options. We walk the site during quoting to confirm the marquee position; for steeper grades we adjust the footprint or add supplemental anchor.
Burke Mountain hillside acreage
Hillside acreage along the upper Burke streets often requires engineered slope-staking, supplemental downhill ballast, or — for the steepest sites — a smaller marquee than the headcount would otherwise suggest. We don’t squeeze a 20×60 onto a slope that calls for two 20×30s.
Minnekhada and Mundy forest ceremonies
Forest-zone ceremonies need permit coordination, hand-carry delivery from the parking lot, and uneven-ground anchor strategies. Smaller marquee footprints (20×20, 20×30) are standard for the forest sites; larger footprints stay on the open meadow.
Maillardville, Eagle Ridge, Town Centre backyards
Standard backyard pattern: setbacks, slope, sprinkler heads, and where the truck can stop without blocking the laneway. Maillardville’s heritage streets are tight on truck access; we use shorter delivery windows and pre-stage equipment closer to the property line.
Per-item pricing
The same in Maillardville as on Burke Mountain. Our 20×40 marquee is one rate, full stop. The line that changes between bookings is delivery — slope, anchor strategy, after-hours timing — never the tent rate.
Same-day setup and ceremony-to-reception flips
Many Coquitlam weddings run a single-tent ceremony-to-reception flip — same chairs, same marquee handle both phases, with our crew rearranging the layout in 30–45 minutes during the cocktail hour. A 100-guest Coquitlam tent rental order
For a 100-guest Coquitlam wedding — say a Saturday in August at Westwood Plateau Golf, ceremony and reception under a single tent on the ceremony lawn — a typical tent-side order looks like:
- 1 × 20×60 marquee tent (covered ceremony + reception in single footprint)
- 4 × tent sidewalls (full enclosure for evening)
- 8 × bistro string-light strands across the marquee ridge
- 1 × tent heater (October–April bookings; optional in summer)
- Engineered ground stakes plus slope-supplement ballast (default for Westwood’s graded lawn)
Setup runs 4–5 hours for a 20×60 + sidewall configuration; teardown is 2–3 hours. Both quoted up front. The 50/100/150/200 rental checklist maps the marquee sizing.
