What our Vancouver chair lineup covers

Three chair lines that cover almost every Vancouver event:
- White Chiavari ($8.50/day) — the wedding-reception standard. Lacquered hardwood frame, ivory cushion, stacks 8 high. Best for indoor and covered-patio receptions, heritage venues, and any photographed ceremony where the formal frame is the aesthetic priority.
- Fanback folding ($3.25/day) — the workhorse. Steel frame, folds flat, stacks compactly. Right for ceremony rows where photos prioritize the couple, school events, and any high-headcount Vancouver booking.
- Resin Garden ($5.50/day) — the outdoor-resilient pick. Resin frame and seat, more substantial visual than Fanback but more forgiving than Chiavari to weather and damp grass. The right call for shoulder-season outdoor ceremonies (October–March) and any Vancouver outdoor wedding where surface moisture is the variable.
Mixing lines is free. Chiavari for the reception, Fanback for the ceremony rows — one quote, one delivery.

Park ceremonies
Stanley Park, Queen Elizabeth Park, and VanDusen all accept any of the three chair lines — the choice is about photo aesthetic and forecast. Chiavari is the most-photographed pick for dry summer afternoons; Resin Garden handles wet-forecast bookings better.
Rooftop and high-rise events
Yaletown and downtown rooftop ceremonies and receptions skew toward Chiavari for the formal frame and the controlled indoor-outdoor transition. Stacking 8 high keeps the freight-elevator trips manageable.
Backyard receptions
West End and Kitsilano backyard weddings often pair Fanback folding for ceremony rows with Chiavari at the reception tables — common at higher headcounts (150+ guests) where the per-chair cost on the ceremony rows matters.
Per-item pricing
The same in Yaletown as in any Vancouver neighbourhood. Our Chiavari chair is one rate, full stop. The line that changes between bookings is delivery — distance, freight elevator, slope — never the per-chair rate.
Same-day flips and mid-event re-staging
Many Vancouver weddings run a single-tent ceremony-to-reception flip with the same chairs handling both phases. Our crew arrives 90 minutes before ceremony, sets the rows, and re-stages the chairs around the reception tables in the 30–45 minute cocktail-hour window. Mid-event re-staging is included on single-tent bookings; it’s not an add-on line.
A 100-guest Vancouver chair rental order
For a 100-guest Vancouver wedding — say a Saturday in July with ceremony at Queen Elizabeth Park’s Quarry Gardens and reception in a Yaletown event space — a typical chair-side order looks like:
- 100 × white Chiavari chairs (ceremony rows at the park, then re-positioned at the reception tables — same chairs, single delivery, our crew handles the flip)
The Chiavari-only configuration is the most common Vancouver wedding chair booking. For shoulder-season outdoor ceremonies or wet-forecast dates, 100 × Resin Garden chairs for the ceremony + 100 × Chiavari at the reception is the safer pick — same quote, no mixing surcharge.
