Destination delivery, multi-day staging, and Harrison realities

Multi-day staging is the destination norm
Harrison weddings often run Friday–Sunday — rehearsal dinner, ceremony/reception, farewell brunch — at multiple venues across the village. We can stage the truck overnight at the lead venue rather than running the round-trip back twice. Overnight staging factors into the delivery line up front, not as a surprise add-on.
Harrison Resort vs. lakefront private properties
Resort weddings run on the Harrison Hot Springs Resort’s calendar and vendor protocol — we book through their events team. Lakefront private properties (rented homes, Sasquatch Park-adjacent properties) are more flexible on timing but need a pre-event site walk for any property we haven’t delivered to.
Lake exposure and beach permits
Direct-sand ceremonies at Harrison Beach require village permits. Resin Garden chairs replace Chiavari for sand contact; ballast replaces stakes on saturated lakefront soil; sidewalls go up year-round for any open-water exposure.
Per-item pricing
The same on a Harrison Lake property as in our Surrey warehouse. Our 5ft round table is one rate, full stop. The line that changes between bookings is delivery — distance, overnight staging, multi-venue — never the per-item rate.
A 100-guest Harrison Hot Springs destination wedding rental order
For a 100-guest Harrison destination wedding — say a Saturday in August at a Harrison Lake-adjacent property with ceremony on the beach and reception under marquee on the lawn — a typical order looks like:
- 1 × 20×60 marquee tent with sidewalls (covered reception with full enclosure)
- 100 × white Chiavari chairs for the reception
- 100 × Resin Garden chairs for the beach ceremony (Chiavari doesn’t suit direct sand)
- 12 × 5ft round tables for the reception
- 6 × 6ft banquet tables (head, gift, cake, DJ, registration, bar)
- 1 × 12×16 portable dance floor
- 2 × cocktail highboys for the cocktail hour
- Bistro string lighting along the marquee ridge plus Edison lights at the cocktail hour
- Ballasted weight kits (lakefront default)
Setup runs 6–7 hours with the larger crew destination weddings need; teardown 4–5. Both quoted up front. For Harrison Hot Springs Resort weddings (where the venue’s interior covers the reception footprint), the marquee comes off the order entirely.
