Ladner Village access
Heritage-protected streets, narrow alleys, and driveway grade variations mean we confirm access during quoting for every Ladner Village booking. Some addresses require staging at the road and hand-carrying equipment. Most village-core weddings stay smaller (under 80 guests) and skip the marquee entirely.
Westham Island bridge crossing
Westham Island has one bridge connecting it to Ladner mainland. We factor the bridge crossing into the delivery window — never tight on event day. Once on the island, the venues themselves typically have plenty of footprint and standard farm-soil staking works well.
Marina-side ceremonies
Ladner’s working marinas (Captain’s Cove and the smaller boatyards along the river) host occasional ceremony and reception events. Marina events need ballast (no staking on dock surfaces), windbreak from the river, and a smaller-scale setup that respects the working-water character of the venue.
Per-item pricing

The Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary’s surrounding land hosts occasional fundraisers, conservation events, and small charity functions throughout the year. These setups typically run smaller than weddings (50–80 guests), often skip the marquee entirely (open-air ceremonies in the mild months), and need a quieter setup pattern that respects the wildlife area’s character. Lead times are often shorter (2–4 weeks) since charity events run on their own calendars.
An 80-guest Ladner heritage village wedding rental order
For an 80-guest Ladner wedding — say a Saturday in August at a Ladner Village heritage home with cocktail hour in the front yard and reception indoors — a typical order looks like:
