Three chair lines cover almost every Ladner event:
- White Chiavari ($8.50/day) — the wedding-reception standard. Lacquered hardwood frame, ivory cushion, stacks 8 high. Best for Ladner Village heritage restaurant receptions, Port Guichon waterfront residence weddings, Westham Island farmhouse indoor receptions, and any Ladner booking where the photos prioritize formal seating against heritage or agricultural backdrops.
- Fanback folding ($3.25/day) — the workhorse. Steel frame, folds flat, stacks compactly. Right for Westham Island outdoor farm ceremony rows, Millennium Park community events, and any high-headcount Ladner booking.
- Resin Garden ($5.50/day) — the outdoor-resilient pick. Right for George C. Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary ceremonies, Westham Island farm-edge outdoor weddings, Ladner Village waterfront ceremonies on the boardwalk-adjacent lawns, and any Ladner booking where morning dew is the surface variable.
Mixing lines is free. We carry enough of each line that a Westham Island ceremony + Ladner Village reception ships on a single delivery.

Westham Island farm weddings
Westham Island agritourism farms run a steady share of the Ladner wedding calendar. Cross the single-lane bridge, deliver to the farm, install on the lawn or farm-edge clearing. Most Westham Island weddings are 80–120 guests with a two-chair-line setup. Resin Garden for the outdoor farm ceremony (the morning grass is dew-prone, the farm-edge surface is uneven), Chiavari for the reception inside the farmhouse or under marquee on the lawn.
Ladner Village heritage and 48 Avenue
Ladner Village’s heritage streets and 48 Avenue restaurant row run smaller weddings (60–100 guests typical) with Chiavari-dominant configurations. Truck access is tight; shorter delivery windows and pre-stage close to the property line are the install pattern.
George C. Reifel Migratory Bird Sanctuary
Reifel Sanctuary’s nature-walk and pond-adjacent ceremony zones run on permits with strict setback rules. Resin Garden for the damp-grass and marsh-adjacent ceremonies. Hand-carry chairs from the parking lot to the specific ceremony zone.
Port Guichon and Holly — waterfront residential
Port Guichon’s waterfront residential streets and Holly’s adjacent residential blocks accept standard delivery patterns. Most Port Guichon weddings are 80–120 guests on the residence lawn with Chiavari-only configurations under marquee.
Millennium Park and community events
Millennium Park and Ladner community-venue events run on Fanback folding for the larger seated-row configurations. Park-permit delivery windows are standard.
Per-item pricing
The same on Westham Island as in Ladner Village. Our Chiavari chair is one rate, full stop. The line that changes between bookings is delivery — bridge timing, heritage-street access, permit windows — never the per-chair rate.
Same-day swaps and short-notice add-ons
Ladner delivery runs 30 minutes via Highway 17 — among our shorter Delta routes. Short-notice walk-in additions or chair swaps mid-event can typically be on-site within 60–75 minutes during business hours.
A 100-guest Ladner chair rental order
For a 100-guest Ladner wedding — say a Saturday in August with ceremony at a Westham Island farm followed by a reception inside the farmhouse — a typical chair-side order looks like:
- 100 × Resin Garden chairs outdoor farm ceremony (the morning grass and farm-edge surface call for it)
- 100 × white Chiavari chairs reception inside the farmhouse or under marquee on the lawn
The two-chair-line setup is the most common Westham Island farm-wedding configuration. For Ladner Village heritage restaurant receptions (where ceremony and reception are at the same indoor venue), 100 × Chiavari handles both phases. For other guest counts, the 50/100/150/200 rental checklist maps the chair count + table count to your headcount. Westham Island weddings rarely book chairs alone — the marquee, tables, dance floor, and lighting all ship on the same bridge-crossing delivery, off our full Ladner rental setup.
