Hart House, Burnaby Village Museum, the Shadbolt Centre, and Deer Lake Park all run their own programming calendars. Vendor access is venue-coordinated. Most heritage venues skip the marquee entirely; outdoor zones at Deer Lake Park accept 20×40 and 20×60 footprints depending on the specific ceremony site.
Brentwood and Metrotown rooftops
High-rise rooftop installs need three things confirmed before quoting: freight-elevator dimensions, weight rating, and the building manager’s Saturday availability. Ballast at every leg, sidewalls year-round, and a marquee size adjusted for the rooftop’s structural capacity rather than nominal headcount.
Detached-home backyards
Standard backyard pattern: setbacks, slope, sprinkler heads, and where the truck can stop without blocking the alley. Most North Burnaby and Deer Lake-area lots accept a 20×40 comfortably.
Per-item pricing
The same in Brentwood as in any Burnaby neighbourhood. Our 20×40 marquee is one rate, full stop. The line that changes between bookings is delivery — elevator, anchor strategy, after-hours timing — never the tent rate.

For a 100-guest Burnaby wedding — say a Saturday in August at Deer Lake Park’s lakefront lawn, ceremony and reception under a single tent — a typical tent-side order looks like:
- 1 × 20×60 marquee tent (covered ceremony + reception in single footprint)
- 4 × tent sidewalls (full enclosure for evening)
- 8 × bistro string-light strands across the marquee ridge
- 1 × tent heater (October–April bookings; optional in summer)
- Engineered ground stakes (default for park grass; ballast on hard surfaces)
Setup runs 4–5 hours for a 20×60 + sidewall configuration; teardown is 2–3 hours. Both quoted up front. For Brentwood or Metrotown rooftop setups (typically 60–80 guests, 20×40 marquee with full ballast), the order shrinks accordingly. The 50/100/150/200 rental checklist maps the marquee sizing.
