Three floor sizes that cover almost every Burnaby event:

The floor goes down level. Heels don’t catch panel seams. We don’t ship a floor that bounces under load.

Heritage venue installs
Hart House, Burnaby Village Museum, and the Shadbolt Centre all have existing flooring that accepts the dance floor directly with edge ramps only. No subfloor needed; setup runs 45–60 minutes for a 12×16.
Brentwood and Metrotown rooftops
Rooftop dance floors need three things confirmed before quoting: freight-elevator dimensions, weight rating, and the rooftop’s structural capacity. Floor panels at <60 lb each fit nearly every freight elevator. Ballast goes on tent components; the floor sits flat on the rooftop surface.
Deer Lake Park and backyard receptions
Grass installs require engineered subfloor underneath the dance floor. Adds 90–120 minutes to setup but ensures the floor stays gap-free under 80–100 dancing guests at midnight.
Per-item pricing
The same in Brentwood as on Deer Lake. Our 12×16 portable dance floor is one rate, full stop. The line that changes between bookings is delivery and subfloor — surface, elevator, slope — never the per-floor rate.
Ceremony-to-reception flips with dance floor staging
Many Burnaby weddings run a single-tent ceremony-to-reception flip — same chairs, same marquee, same crew. The dance floor goes in during the cocktail hour, after the ceremony chairs are pulled and the reception layout is staged.
