Three chair lines that cover almost every Port Moody event:
- White Chiavari ($8.50/day) — the wedding-reception standard. Lacquered hardwood frame, ivory cushion, stacks 8 high. Best for Inlet Centre indoor receptions, Port Moody Arts Centre weddings, Heritage Mountain backyard receptions under marquee, and any Port Moody venue where the photos prioritize formal seating.
- Fanback folding ($3.25/day) — the workhorse. Steel frame, folds flat, stacks compactly. Right for ceremony rows, school events, civic events at Inlet Centre, and any high-headcount booking.
- Resin Garden ($5.50/day) — the outdoor-resilient pick. Resin frame and seat, more substantial visual than Fanback but more forgiving than Chiavari to weather and damp grass. The right call for Rocky Point Park waterfront ceremonies, Shoreline Trail park weddings, Buntzen Lake forest ceremonies, and Bert Flinn Park outdoor events.
Mixing lines is free. We carry enough of each that the full ceremony + reception split ships without short-shipping.
Rocky Point, Shoreline Trail, Buntzen — Port Moody chair patterns

Rocky Point Park and Shoreline Trail waterfront
Rocky Point Park and the Shoreline Trail run on tight permit windows and Inlet-edge wind exposure. Resin Garden is the standard. Vehicle access is via the park gates with venue-coordinated timing; we pre-stage equipment near the ceremony zone to minimize the carry distance from the truck.
Buntzen Lake forest ceremonies
Buntzen Lake’s forested ceremony zones are damp, uneven, and accessed via the parking lot. Resin Garden every time; we hand-carry chairs the final stretch when the ceremony zone is past the trailhead.
Heritage Mountain hillside backyards
Heritage Mountain weddings are typically smaller (50–100 guests) and held at hillside acreage residences. Newer streets accept the standard delivery truck without issue.
Inlet Centre, Moody Centre, civic
Port Moody Arts Centre and Inlet Centre civic venues run on dock-controlled schedules. Most Inlet Centre weddings lean Chiavari for indoor receptions; civic events at Moody Centre run Fanback folding for high-headcount registrations.
Anmore-border acreage
Anmore-border weddings off Sunnyside Road use rural roads with ample truck access. Larger acreage receptions (100–150 guests) take the full chair-line mix: Resin Garden outdoor ceremony, Chiavari indoor reception under a marquee.
Per-item pricing
The same on Heritage Mountain as on Buntzen Lake. Our Chiavari chair is one rate, full stop. The line that changes between bookings is delivery — hillside access, after-hours timing — never the per-chair rate.
Same-day swaps and short-notice add-ons
Port Moody delivery runs 40–50 minutes via Highway 1. Short-notice walk-in additions or chair swaps mid-event can typically be on-site within 90 minutes during business hours.
A 100-guest Port Moody chair rental order
For a 100-guest Port Moody wedding — say a Saturday in August at Rocky Point Park ceremony followed by an Inlet Centre reception — a typical chair-side order looks like:
- 100 × Resin Garden chairs outdoor ceremony, then 100 × white Chiavari chairs indoor reception (the waterfront-into-indoor-reception standard)
The two-chair-line setup is the most common Port Moody waterfront wedding configuration. For Heritage Mountain and Anmore-border acreage weddings, the Chiavari-only configuration under a single marquee is also common — the 50/100/150/200 rental checklist maps the chair count + table count to your headcount.
