Projector Rental Questions

Can I use the projector outdoors during the day?

At 5000 lumens the ViewSonic LS740HD is one of the brighter event projectors out there, but no projector beats direct sunlight. For outdoor screenings we recommend starting after dusk, or projecting inside a shaded marquee tent during the day. In a lit indoor room — a conference hall, banquet room, or boardroom — it holds a clear image with the lights on.

What's included with the projector rental?

The base rental is the ViewSonic LS740HD projector plus HDMI cabling. The 100″ screen with floor stand and a projector/laptop stand are available as add-ons — add both to the same booking and we deliver everything together. Audio isn't included in the kit; most events run sound from a laptop or a portable speaker, and we're happy to advise on the right setup.

Do you set up the projector and screen?

Yes. Our crew delivers to your venue, assembles and positions the 100″ screen and stand, places the projector, and confirms a clean, level image before we leave. We collect everything after your event. If you'd rather pick up and self-install, that's an option too — just let us know when you book.

Can I run the projector off-grid for a backyard movie night?

Absolutely — this is one of our favourite combos. The projector pairs with our EcoFlow power stations so you can run a full backyard or park movie night with no wall outlet, and with one of our marquee tents you get a rain-proof screening either way. Book the projector, screen, and power station on one order and we deliver it all in a single window.

How far in advance should I book?

We carry limited projector and screen stock, so summer weekends and the December corporate-party season book up first. We recommend reserving 2–3 weeks ahead when you can; that said, it's always worth checking our live availability calendar for last-minute dates.

What's your cancellation policy?

We offer a 125% cancellation guarantee: if we ever cancel on you for any reason, we return 125% of every dollar paid. For client-initiated cancellations, your deposit is held as a credit toward a rescheduled date. See our full terms at checkout.
