Pickup vs Delivery for Party Rentals

01Two clocks

Pickup: 9317 188 St, Surrey, free, 7:30 AM–9 PM on call. You need a truck that fits tables on edge.

Delivery: $175–$350 by location, 24/7 to the address — drop-off and pickup in one charge, quoted before you pay. Marquee install is in the tent price. You do not get a 30×60 in a Honda.

02Who should pick up

A 10×10, a stack of fanbacks, and a couple of 6ft banquets. That is a pickup order.

Anything with a marquee, dance floor, or Starlink mast is a delivery. We still have to stand the tent.

03Distance

Surrey, Langley, and the warehouse-side of the Fraser Valley are the cheap truck. Vancouver and the North Shore land higher in the $175–$350 range once we see the address. We do not hide a second ‘fuel’ line after checkout.

05Field notes from the warehouse

Pickup is a warehouse transaction: you back up to 9317 188 St, we load tables on edge and chairs in stacks, you return them in the same shape. Delivery is a crew day: we map the driveway, check overhead lines, and for a marquee we stay until it is stood.

A Honda Civic does not take seven 5ft rounds. If you are not sure the vehicle fits, it is a delivery. We would rather quote $175 than meet you at the dock with a car full of no.

Pickup $0. Delivery $175–$350 round trip, quoted to the pin before you pay the balance. Marquee install is not this fee — it is inside $550–$1,890. 25% deposit locks the date either way.

After-hours warehouse access is on-call, not a second SKU. Call 778-990-7983.

People assume Vancouver is a surcharge city we hide until Saturday. It is not. The quote is the quote. Far pins (Harrison, Mission, North Shore) price toward the $350 end once we see the map — still before you pay.

Marquee 'pickup' is not a thing. Frames and tops stay on our truck.

A real hold, not a “from” price: round-trip delivery floor (drop-off and pickup in one charge) for a Metro Vancouver address is $175.00 CAD before tax on the published list. Twenty-five percent is $43.75 in RentKit the day you book. Balance $131.25 before pickup at 9317 188 St or before the truck leaves. Delivery, when you want it, is $175–$350 by location and is quoted to the pin so Vancouver and Harrison are not a 7 AM surprise.

Harrison, Mission, and the North Shore sit toward the top of the $175–$350 range once we map the driveway. Vancouver is not a hidden surcharge city. Marquee pickup is not offered — frames stay on our truck. Dance floor, Starlink, and heaters ride the same delivery when they are on the same order.

Fee detail sits on tent rental delivery fee. The rate card is /pricing. The CAD on /pricing is the CAD on the invoice.
