A 10×10 popup is $75 per day. You pick it up at 9317 188 St. We do not send a crew, ballast, or sidewalls.

A 20×20 marquee is $550 per event with two crew and install in the price. That is the first real tent in the fleet.

02When the 10×10 is enough

Kids' birthday, one folding table, a 2-hour window, and a fence that blocks wind. That is popup work. See the backyard birthday playbook.

If anyone is sitting down to a plated dinner, or the forecast has a south-easterly, spend the $550. The 10×10 is 100 sq ft. A 6ft banquet almost fills it.

03When you need the marquee

Fifty adults, a buffet, and a chance of rain: 20×20 at the small end, 20×40 if there is a dance. Covered 50-guest packages skip the 20×20 on purpose.

We will not install a Costco canopy. If you bought one, you own the stakes and the neighbour conversation.

05Field notes from the warehouse

A 10×10 popup on a Surrey patio is a shade sail with walls of air. We have delivered fanbacks next to a store-bought canopy that was already listing in a 20 km/h breeze at 4 PM. The marquee 20×20 at $550 is a different product: two crew, a stake or ballast plan, and a roof that does not fold when the Fraser Valley easterly starts.

If the party is 12 kids and a cake table, the popup is honest. If anyone is sitting for dinner, or the yard is open to 192 Street wind, the $475 gap is cheaper than ruined food. We will still rent you the chairs either way.

Popup invoice: $75/day, free pickup at 9317 188 St. No install line. Marquee invoice: $550 event + delivery from $175. Sidewall $50/day is a third line if you want rain protection. 25% deposit locks whichever you pick.

We will not mix them on one crew call. If you pick up the 10×10 and also want a 20×20 installed, that is two products and two clocks — pickup window vs Friday install.

People email a photo of a Costco canopy and ask us to 'just stake it.' We will not. Insurance and the stake plan are for tents we own. Buy it, keep it, we will still bring tables.

The other miss: assuming a 10×10 'plus a couple of popups' equals a 20×40. It does not. Gaps between canopies are where the rain goes.

A real hold, not a “from” price: 20×20 marquee (the backyard dinner fork), per event is $550.00 CAD before tax on the published list. Twenty-five percent is $137.50 in RentKit the day you book. Balance $412.50 before the crew rolls from 9317 188 St, Surrey. Marquee frames stay on our truck — they are not a warehouse pickup. Delivery starts at $175, quoted to the pin so Vancouver and Harrison are not a 7 AM surprise.

A 10×10 popup at $75/day is the other fork, and it is a pickup SKU: you load it at 9317 188 St and you stand it. There is no ballast plan, no sidewall kit, and no Friday crew. We have watched store canopies list in a 20 km/h Fraser Valley easterly while the 20×20 next door did not move. If anyone sits down to dinner, or the yard opens onto 192 Street wind, spend the $550.

Sidewalls are $50/day on the marquee only. Heaters are $100/day. Neither belongs on a popup. Covered 50-guest packages skip the 20×20 on purpose and ship a 20×40 so seven rounds still have an aisle. Do not stack three 10×10s and call it a 20×30 — the gaps are where the rain goes.
