Three chair lines that cover almost every West Van event:
- White Chiavari ($8.50/day) — the wedding-reception standard. Lacquered hardwood frame, ivory cushion, stacks 8 high. Best for British Properties estate receptions, Caulfeild backyard dinners, and any West Van setup where the photos prioritize formal seating.
- Fanback folding ($3.25/day) — the workhorse. Steel frame, folds flat. Right for Park Royal corporate registrations, school events, and high-headcount ceremony rows.
- Resin Garden ($5.50/day) — the ocean-edge pick. Resin frame and seat, more substantial visual than Fanback, more forgiving than Chiavari to salt spray, damp grass, and rocky beach surfaces. The right call for Whytecliff, Lighthouse Park, and Ambleside Park ceremonies.
Mixing lines is free. Resin for the ceremony, Chiavari for the reception, no setup surcharge for the swap.

Whytecliff, Lighthouse Park, Ambleside ocean ceremonies

British Properties estate receptions
Terraced lawns with city-light backdrops. Chiavari is the standard; setup includes levelling on uneven grass where needed. Estate driveways are wide enough for our delivery vehicle in nearly every case — the lawn access is the question, not the road.
Park Royal and Marine Drive corporate
Mid-rise office spaces and the larger Park Royal venues run their own freight-elevator timing. Fanback folding ships compactly through urban elevators; Chiavari fits but takes more trips. We confirm dimensions and weight rating before quoting.
Per-item pricing
The same in Caulfeild as on the Ambleside seawall. Our Chiavari is one rate, full stop. The line that changes is delivery — bridge timing, cart-carry, ferry schedule — never the per-chair rate.
A 100-guest West Vancouver chair rental order
For a 100-guest West Van wedding with a Whytecliff Park ceremony and a British Properties estate reception, a typical chair-side order looks like:
- 100 × Resin Garden chairs at the Whytecliff ceremony (weather-forgiving on the rocky beach, cart-friendly down from the upper lot)
- 100 × white Chiavari chairs at the estate reception (the formal photo aesthetic for the dinner)
This is the two-line configuration. For weddings where the ceremony and reception are both held on the estate lawn, the Chiavari-only setup works for both, and we re-stage the rows into reception tables during the cocktail hour. For other guest counts, the 50/100/150/200 rental checklist maps chair count to headcount. British Properties estates rarely book chairs alone — the marquee, tables, and dance floor ship on the same delivery and come off tents, tables and dance floors in West Vancouver.
