Three floor sizes that cover almost every Langley vineyard, acreage, and corporate event:
- 12×12 portable dance floor — 60–80 guests, smaller acreage backyards, intimate vineyard receptions.
- 12×16 portable dance floor — the workhorse. 100-guest vineyard weddings, most marquee setups across Brookswood and Murrayville.
- 16×20 portable dance floor — 150–200 guests (more common at Langley vineyards than urban weddings), larger acreage receptions.
- Subfloor panels — engineered platforms that level grass, farm soil, and sloped lawns beneath the dance floor. Almost always required for Langley installs.
- Edge ramps — included on every floor install. Trip-hazard safety, not aesthetic.
Vineyard grass holds more moisture than urban lawns. Subfloor isn’t an upsell here — it’s how the floor stays tight at midnight.

Vineyard receptions
Township 7, Krause, Domaine de Chaberton. Subfloor on every install — the lawn near tasting rooms holds enough irrigation moisture that staking subfloor is non-negotiable. We coordinate the install window with the venue’s harvest and tasting-room schedule.
Acreage installs
Brookswood, Murrayville. Mowed grass with the standard Langley afternoon thermal wind. Subfloor levels the surface; we confirm slope during the pre-quote walk for unfamiliar properties.
Langley Events Centre corporate
Indoor floors at LEC accept the dance floor directly with edge ramps only — no subfloor. Setup is faster (45–60 minutes for a 12×16) than vineyard installs.
Per-item pricing
The same on a Township 7 lawn as in Brookswood. Our 12×16 portable dance floor is one rate, full stop. The line that changes between bookings is delivery and subfloor — surface, slope, multi-venue — never the per-floor rate.
High-volume vineyard floors and 200-guest weddings
Langley vineyard weddings hit 200 guests more often than urban Vancouver weddings, and the dance floor scales accordingly — 16×20 with full subfloor on the marquee-adjacent lawn. We carry the volume in stock, and the install runs 2.5–3 hours total (subfloor + floor + ramps) with the crew sized for the larger order.
A 100-guest Langley dance floor rental order
For a 100-guest Langley vineyard wedding at Township 7 with marquee reception, a typical dance floor order looks like:
- 1 × 12×16 portable dance floor (the standard for 100 guests)
- Subfloor panels (level the vineyard lawn beneath the floor)
- Edge ramps on all four sides
- Crew install (90–120 minutes for floor + subfloor)
