What our North Vancouver table lineup covers
A 5ft round set for 8 — the North Shore wedding-reception standard.
Three tables, three jobs. North Vancouver event floor plans usually need all three:
- 5ft round tables ($13.50/day, seats 8) — the classic wedding-reception configuration. The reception workhorse for Lynn Valley acreages, Capilano-area private homes, and any seated-dinner event.
- 6ft rectangular banquet tables ($10.95/day, seats 6–8) — the single most versatile SKU we ship. Family-style dining rows, buffet stations, gift tables, DJ booths, bar setups. Under 75 lb so they handle hand-carry from the road when steep driveways require it.
- Cocktail highboy tables ($15.50/day, standing) — 42-inch standing-height rounds for cocktail hour and networking events. Plan ~1 highboy per 10–12 standing guests.
North Shore deliveries reward planning. Steep driveways, overhead branches, and bridge-traffic windows all show up before the quote, not after.

Steep driveways and hand-carry
Some Edgemont and lower Capilano properties have grade or width constraints that push us to stage at the road. Our 6ft banquet tables at <75 lb handle hand-carry; the 8ft are heavier and we sometimes recommend swapping to 6ft if the carry distance is meaningful.
Bridge + traffic timing
We plan delivery windows around the Ironworkers Memorial crossing and Lonsdale traffic patterns. Friday afternoon and Sunday morning teardowns get the widest windows.
Mountain-adjacent venues
Grouse, Mount Seymour, upper Capilano properties often run smaller table counts (60–80 guests) with full-formal place settings. We level rounds on bench-style platforms when the lawn isn’t level enough for direct staging.
Per-item pricing
The same on a Lynn Valley acreage as on Lonsdale. Our 5ft round table is one rate, full stop. The line that changes between bookings is delivery — driveway grade, hand-carry, distance — never the per-table rate.
Lonsdale Quay restaurant and waterfront events
The other half of our North Van table calendar is restaurant patio events and waterfront corporate functions along Lonsdale Quay. The pattern here is smaller-footprint (a 20×20 popup typically clears the patio), faster setup, and a stronger emphasis on cocktail-hour highboys than full-scale dinner seating. Most Quay-area corporate events run 60–80 attendees on cocktail-hour configurations rather than seated-dinner setups.
A 100-guest North Vancouver table rental order
For a 100-guest North Vancouver wedding — say a Saturday in August at a Lynn Valley acreage with marquee reception — a typical table-side order looks like:
- 12 × 5ft round tables (8 guests per round = 96, with 2 extras for kids and overflow)
- 6 × 6ft banquet tables (head linking 2, gift, cake, DJ, registration)
- 2 × 6ft banquet tables for the buffet line
- 3 × cocktail highboys for the pre-dinner cocktail hour
