Tent rentals in Mission for Hatzic Valley acreage receptions, Silverhill and Cedar Valley mountain-view weddings, Fraser River Heritage Park ceremonies, and Westminster Abbey-adjacent venues — engineered for rural valley wind and longer driveway truck access.
From $75 / day (10×10 popup) — marquee tents from $550/event
Mission tent rentals run on the Lougheed corridor — roughly 75 minutes from our Surrey warehouse via Highway 7. The corridor time shapes our scheduling: we install the day before for any Saturday wedding, with the marquee anchored overnight and ready for chair-and-table layout Saturday morning. Mission acreage installs absorb the corridor cost more efficiently than half-day urban setups would.
Hatzic Valley, Silverhill, and Cedar Valley acreage weddings define the marquee calendar. Most are 100–150 guests under a 20×60 or 30×60 marquee with mountain-and-valley sightline backgrounds. Fraser River Heritage Park ceremony marquees, Mission Leisure Centre supplemental tents, and abbey-view venue installs round out the calendar.
A 20×60 marquee staged on a Hatzic Valley acreage — mountain backdrop framing the install.
A Mission marquee is structurally identical to a Lower Mainland marquee. What changes is install timing. The 75-minute Lougheed corridor delivery means we can’t realistically install Saturday morning and clear Saturday afternoon — too much crew time burns on the corridor for a same-day install to be efficient.
Standard Mission Saturday-event schedule:
This is the same install template we use for Chilliwack and Harrison Hot Springs — the longer-haul Eastern Fraser Valley cities. It costs no more than a half-day urban install because the corridor time gets absorbed into a single overnight rather than two same-day runs.
Hatzic Valley acreage weddings drive the upscale Mission marquee calendar. Most are 100–150 guests under a 20×60 marquee on the acreage lawn. Hatzic Lake-adjacent properties run an additional anchor consideration — sidewalls year-round given the lake-side onshore breeze.
Engineered ground stakes are the default; supplemental ballast at the lake-facing or valley-facing corners where the wind line concentrates.
Silverhill and Cedar Valley sit higher up the Fraser Valley with longer driveways, more pronounced mountain-and-valley views, and (in some cases) significant lot slope. Slope-aware anchor strategy is the default — supplemental downhill ballast for grades steeper than 5%, engineered slope-staking where the lawn has been pre-graded for events.
The marquee placement itself becomes a photographic decision at these venues — the view is the anchor, and we walk the lot during the pre-quote site visit to identify the orientation that frames the valley best.
Fraser River Heritage Park’s ceremony zones run on heritage permits with venue-coordinated delivery. Most ceremony marquees are 20×30 to 20×40; full reception marquees rarely fit the permitted setbacks. The standard pattern: smaller ceremony marquee at Heritage Park, reception marquee at a Hatzic or Silverhill acreage with the full equipment line.
Mission Leisure Centre and downtown community-venue events occasionally book supplemental marquees for outdoor cocktail-hour cover or registration overflow. 20×20 to 20×40 footprints; hardscape installs use full ballast.
The rural-edge acreage areas around Hatzic Prairie and the eastern Mission lots have the largest single Mission marquee bookings — 30×60 marquees for 200-guest weddings are routine here. Driveway approach measured in hundreds of metres; truck-stage distance factors into the crew-time line.
For a 100-guest Mission wedding — say a Saturday in August at a Hatzic Valley acreage with ceremony and reception under a single marquee — a typical tent-side order looks like:
Setup runs 5–6 hours for a 20×60 + sidewall configuration; teardown is 3–4 hours. Both quoted up front. The 50/100/150/200 rental checklist maps the marquee sizing to your headcount. Mission acreage weddings rarely book the marquee alone — chairs, tables, dance floor, and lighting all ship on the same Lougheed corridor delivery, off our full Mission party rentals lineup.
