Yorkson, Willoughby Heights, Routley — friendly-access residential

Willoughby’s residential streets are some of the friendliest install conditions in the Township. Yorkson, Willoughby Heights, and Routley are newer developments with:
- Wider lot frontage than the established Township villages
- Paved approach streets with ample maneuvering room
- Standard driveway depth at most addresses
- Few overhead-branch constraints compared to mature-tree neighbourhoods
Most installs are 20×40 to 20×60 marquees on the residential lawn. The marquee itself is the same template we use across the Lower Mainland; the install efficiency is what makes Willoughby a friendly delivery.
Langley Events Centre — supplemental and outdoor
The LEC’s indoor facilities handle most corporate events without supplemental marquees. When LEC does book marquees, it’s for sponsor activations, outdoor cocktail-hour cover at the large galas, or registration overflow. 20×20 to 20×40 footprints; the LEC events team coordinates vendor windows.
Sendall Gardens and Willoughby Community Park
Both run on permit-coordinated delivery with strict setback rules. Most accept 20×20 cocktail-style ceremony marquees at most. The standard pattern: ceremony at the park or garden, reception marquee at a Yorkson or Routley residence.
Jacob Hoogendoorn Park and smaller community zones
Smaller community-venue marquee installs run 20×20 to 20×30 footprints for outdoor cocktail-hour cover or community-scale events.
A 100-guest Willoughby tent rental order
For a 100-guest Willoughby wedding — say a Saturday in August at a Yorkson residence with ceremony at Sendall Gardens and reception under marquee on the residence lawn — a typical tent-side order looks like:
- 1 × 20×60 marquee tent at the residence (Sendall Gardens ceremony is chairs-only)
- 4 × tent sidewalls (full enclosure for evening)
- 8 × bistro string-light strands across the marquee ridge
- 1 × tent heater (October–April bookings; optional in summer)
- Engineered ground stakes (default for Yorkson lawn)
