Swaneset Bay Resort — supplemental marquee installs
A 20×40 marquee installed alongside Swaneset’s course-side ceremony lawn.
Swaneset Bay Resort & Country Club drives most of our Pitt Meadows marquee bookings — but the role is supplemental rather than primary. The resort’s indoor banquet halls handle the reception space; our marquee usually covers the outdoor ceremony lawn or the cocktail-hour transition between ceremony and indoor reception.
Standard Swaneset supplemental install:
- 20×40 to 20×60 marquee on the course-adjacent ceremony lawn or cocktail patio
- Engineered ground stakes for the lawn; full ballast on the patio hardscape
- Sidewalls year-round (the course-side afternoon breeze is reliable)
- Bistro string lighting along the ridge
We coordinate the install window with the resort’s events team during quoting. Most Swaneset weddings happen on weekends and the resort runs multiple events in a Saturday; vendor delivery windows are venue-managed.
Pitt Lake shoreline ceremony tents
Pitt Lake shoreline ceremony marquees are seasonal (May–September) and typically smaller (20×20 to 20×30). Permit setbacks at the shoreline access points cap most installs below 20×40. The reception flips to a Central Meadows residence, Osprey Village restaurant, or Swaneset Bay indoor space.
The remote nature of some Pitt Lake access points means we coordinate pre-stage time with the property owner or venue; standard same-day install pattern doesn’t always apply at the more remote shoreline ceremony spots.
Central Meadows and South Bonson backyards
Standard residential backyard pattern. Most lots accept a 20×40 marquee comfortably; larger South Bonson and rural-edge North Pitt Meadows lots can fit a 20×60.
North Pitt Meadows rural-residential and acreage
North Pitt Meadows has larger lot frontage and accepts the larger marquees comfortably. 20×60 marquees for 100–150 guest acreage weddings are routine.
Pitt-Addington Marsh
Pitt-Addington Marsh and surrounding nature-reserve zones accept 20×20 cocktail-style marquees at most. Permit-coordinated delivery, with reception marquees installed at adjacent residential or resort venues.
Osprey Village
Osprey Village’s pier and adjacent restaurants book supplemental marquees for outdoor cocktail-hour cover. 20×20 to 20×30 footprints; friendly truck access.
A 100-guest Pitt Meadows tent rental order
For a 100-guest Pitt Meadows wedding — say a Saturday in August at Swaneset Bay Resort with an outdoor ceremony marquee on the course-adjacent lawn — a typical tent-side order looks like:
- 1 × 20×40 marquee tent (covered ceremony on the course lawn; indoor banquet reception inside)
- 4 × tent sidewalls (full enclosure for evening)
- 6 × bistro string-light strands across the marquee ridge
- 1 × tent heater (October–April bookings; optional in summer)
- Engineered ground stakes (default for the resort lawn; full ballast on hardscape patio segments)
Setup runs 3–4 hours for a 20×40 + sidewall configuration; teardown is 2 hours. Both quoted up front. The 50/100/150/200 rental checklist maps the marquee sizing to your headcount.
